Green is the new yellow

If artificial fruit and decor accents were trending on Twitter, you would see the words "Granny","lemon", "splash", showing up repeatedly. That's because artificial Granny Smith apples are the new lemon.

The bright green apples have replaced lemons as a decorative accent or splash color. Clients who displayed our artificial lemons on a counter top or to decorate a book case, are now replacing them with a splash of green.

While the lemons are a timeless classic and always cheerful, the apples do give a room just the "pop" of color we all want as we enter a season that signifies new life and regrowth. Springtime! The bright green is refreshing. Perfect for any style of home. Photos below show the apples in the very sophisticated clam shell in an amazing Contemporary kitchen AND in a quaint little cachepot on a “country” table. Find our more about about our fruit.

It's a small world...miniature really

The Classic Miniatures were inspired by the French Parterre of the 15th – 17th centuries to reflect a more formal approach to miniature gardening.

You can fill the mini border planters with moss, greenery, or leave them unadorned.  Does a tiny garden appeal to you?

A little French gate, a small bicycle parked and waiting, a special gazebo or even a tiny wheelbarrow and little tools?

Simply for fun, we wonder if you and your friends are attracted to these little worlds? Would love to hear what you think.

Note: these are all fairly small in size. For example, the little tables are 1.5” – 2.5”. The statue is 7.5” tall, and placed on a 1.25” x 4.5” round planter, then different shapes and sizes of curved or straight planters are 1.25” tall, and for example 2 pieces each 9” form a 9” circle.

Fun fact: statue garden planter (first photo above) is designed to go on a table, and for the owner to plant in the little curved planters.  It is watertight resin, so that you really can plant!
